Material Converting

Converted materials are best suited for bonding, sealing, mounting, absorption and device assembly. General and specialized adhesives and other materials can be converted using different equipment and techniques to obtain the desired result.

As a 3M™ Preferred Converter, we have capabilities ranging from die-cutting and slitting to laser cutting of various materials such as films, laminates, tapes, pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes, membranes, graphic overlays, copper, foam, composites, rubbers and plastics.

Decals: Warning & Certification Decals, Domed Decals and more

Ampco is experienced in working with CSA, RoHS, UL and CE standards and can provide materials and inks to produce a complete line of agency-certified decals and labels. The labels can be combined with subsurface print, emboss, diecut, overlaminate, backslit, dome and texturizing to meet the required finish and application. A wide selection of materials including plastics, vinyls, reflective and foils are available to best suit your requirements. Your decals can also be serialized in random or sequential serial numbers, characters as well as bar codes.

Quality Membrane Switches & Graphic Overlays

Medical devices often require durable and easy-to-clean displays and control panels. For multi-functional control panels, Ampco offers customization of membrane switches with backlighting components such as LED, EL and Fiber Optics, along with unique tactile requirements and multiplexing needs.
