Among Ampco's customized options for membrane switches is the use of different materials for circuits. Membrane switches may use either a thin-gauge flexible film, or the thicker (more rigid) PCB, depending on the requirements of the application. Although flex circuit designs tend to be more common, the PCB option allows for the potential to incorporate a wider range of electronics within the switch.
