Ampco and 3M Team steps up to support Spirit Week 2006 in British Columbia Ampco Manufacturers Inc. and 3M Commercial Graphics as a part of Spirit of BC Week 2006 celebrations, February 3-10, teamed up to donate 20,000 colourful Spirit of BC Community Committees window decals. The dynamic decals were circulated to over 90 Spirit of BC Community Committees throughout the province and distributed to businesses and individuals who support the Spirit of BC Community Committees and the 230 events that took place during the week-long celebration. Ampco Manufacturers Inc. is proud to announce we are the "Official Supplier of Graphics and Banners for the 2006 World Junior Hockey Championship". The 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship will be held in British Columbia (Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops) from December 26, 2005 through January 5, 2006. The 2006 World Juniors will mark the seventh time this international event has been staged in Canada and the first time it will be held in British Columbia. This year's tournament includes teams from the Czech Republic, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Sweden, United States and Canada divided in two groups for the qualifying rounds. The medal round will be hosted at General Motors Place from January 2 to January 5, 2006. Ampco will be supplying all official Street Banners, Sponsor Banners, Media Backdrops, Directional Signs, Flags, and Vehicle Graphics to all venues and special events throughout British Columbia before and during the tournament. We are excited and honoured to have the opportunity to work with the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship and we look forward to delivering another exceptional result in a high profile event.
