With the Employees’ Charity Fund and Ampco matching the employees’ donation, Ampco made $10,000 donation to the BC Children’s Hospital this year.  It was broadcasted on Global TV’s Miracle Weekend Telethon 2010  (Watch the realing of the Ampco’s donation cheque).  Aaron Sanderson from the Foundation has kindly visited our office to say Thank You and also noted our in-house design & printed donation cheque is the best (!).  Ampco continues its effort in the Sustainability programs.

Ampco Grafix has won the BEST VEHICLE GRAPHIC category at the National Sign Competition by Sign Media magazine.

The winning project was seen during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics  on the Rocky Mountaineer trains.

Ampco is offering free seminars at this year’s Eptech Vancouver Show at Red Robinson Theater on June 2nd.  The AM seminar covers topics on Membrane Switch solutions, and the PM seminar provides the most recent knowledge in Adhesive Solutions.  Both seminars are catered to Design Engineers, Project Managers, Product Developers and Product Designers.

Business in Vancouver announced the Top 100 High-Tech Companies in British Columbia in its issue 1072, May 11-17 2010.  Ampco Manufacturers has made it to no. 82, up from no. 91 from last year.   Ampco has been dedicated to quality custom manufacturing of membrane switches, backlit switches, gauges and control panels for devices in various industries.

Ampco Grafix had the honor to sponsor Graphex 2010, the bi-annual graphic contest gala event organized by Graphic Designers of Canada.

The winners work printed by Ampco Grafix will be exhibited at the Pendulum Gallery from May 2 and 12th.  The exhibit will be traveling across Canada and to China this year.

Congratulations to the draw prize winner, Nikole Japuncic (left in photo).  She won $1,000 for her next graphic printing with Ampco Grafix.  Congratulations.

As the Buildex gets ever bigger, Ampco Grafix was a part of the show at the Vancouver Convention Centre.  The needs for creative solutions for glass graphics and mural wallpapers were often seen during the show at our booth.  Thank you those who visited us!
